The following ab exercises will help you build big and strong abdominal muscles.

  • V-Ups
    Lay flat on your back, then sit up while lifting your legs up until your hands meet your feet, or as close as you can get.
  • Leg Raises
    Leg raises are effective a building your lower ab muscles. Lift yourself off the ground so that your feet are free to dangle, and while keeping torso stiff, lift your legs from hanging straight down up to straight in front of you. Try and keep your legs straight as you do this.
  • Planks
    To perform a plank, lay down on your stomach, and support yourself with your elbows on and forearms on the ground. Keep your body straight and rigid, and flex your abs while you do this. Push yourself to hold this position as long as possible. The more it burns the more muscle you are building!
